In 1991 a chamber exhibition entitled Paintings Doing Politics was held, referring to the political changes. The exhibition featured works by Sándor Bernáth/y/, László Gyémánt, László Lakner, and Péter Prutkay. The subject of the works was the alienated man of the socialist society. These works were all created before 1980.
